Helko Werk sharpening stone (ceramic)

Helmo Werk's Ceramic Ax Stone is a perfect "on the road" sharpening stone. The easy-to-grip round shape ensures safe use. Made of silicon carbide ceramic, just shy of diamond.

It is not only the lightest, but also the hardest ceramic material available. The stone Dual-Grit version offers both coarse (120 grit) and fine (320 grit) sides. The rough side is very aggressive and for rough work. The fine side is used to restore edges that are slightly dull and for finishing after using the coarse side. Use dry or with water or oil as a lubricant
