Petromax Atago

Petromax Atago Can be used as a fire bowl but also as a barbecue, oven and stove. Numerous cooking methods are possible with these four basic functions.

The Atago can be used in combination with the Petromax Dutch Oven or with another cast iron pan. We do not recommend the use of non-stick pans or plastic handles. These pans are often not resistant to high temperatures. For example, place the Petromax FT3, FT6 or FT9 Dutch Oven on top of the Atago. Because a Dutch Oven on top of the Atago is completely surrounded by steel, the heat output is very high. Furthermore, the Atago is supplied with a grill rack to convert the Atago into a barbecue.

The Atago is equipped with a unique fold-out system. You lift the stove using the handle and it unfolds automatically. This makes the Atago ready for use in an instant. And after use, you can easily collapse the stove again and it is only 15 cm high.
