Petromax Grill standard - Fire anchor

With the Petromax Fire Anchor you can turn any campfire into a practical and versatile cooking space - including grill function. The Fire Anchor made of coated steel can be easily and quickly anchored in the ground next to your campfire site. Whether you want to use it over an open fire, the Atago or the Grill plate or fire bowl, it will reliably help you cook in the Dutch oven (up to 6QT), make hot water in the kettle or grill vegetable skewers, sausages, etc. on the grill rack.

An edge in outdoor cooking

Your Petromax Fire Anchor has a central pole that must be fixed into the ground and three arms that you can place individually on the Fire Anchor at different heights and directions. Two of the arms have notches at their ends, on which you can hang cooking utensils. The third arm is equipped with a grill rack and an extra notch for your barbecue gloves or the BBQ and coal tongs. Sausages or vegetable skewers will certainly find a place on the large grill rack with a raised edge.

Stable in the ground

Before using the Fire Anchor, always check the firmness of the ground near the campfire site. For example, a sandy bottom is not well suited, because the Fire Anchor will not be very stable there. Make sure the weight is adequately balanced when cooking with heavy Dutch ovens to ensure your Fire Anchor is stable and safe.
